Watching these two tie the knot was incredibly special to the team and I. Especially since I have ties to Columbia - and Joe spent a few years in graduate school at Mizzou with the couple. Tyler is a Missouri State Trooper; while Grace is finishing Dental School. These two are incredibly kind, sweet and college sweethearts. They met Freshman year, when Tyler sat next to Grace during their first day at Psychology 101 Lecture; was late to class and forgot his pencil - of course Grace being who she was - lent him a pen - and as the couple says "the rest is history."

The couple was married 5 years later, in early June, at an outdoor ceremony near the Three Creeks Conservation Area, and a beautiful reception followed in the Visitors Center. The couple's love of birds and wildlife and their joy of camping and their Mizzou Life made choosing venues and where they would exchange their vows seem all too easy.
