My dear Shelly and Travis; planning and designing this wedding alongside this incredible couple felt like I was planning for my best-friend's wedding and every detail chosen represented the broken road each of them took to find the kind of love they now share together. This wedding was a high-point in my little company. The couple met while working together in their esteemed careers and wanted to have an intimate, private Ceremony service in their small local church and then have a large celebration focusing on truly treating guests that could join them. From booking the California native and famous for photographing Oprah, Stephen Orlick for their photographer; and the unbelievable talented Chicago based Howard Wallach as their entertainment & DJ - Shelly & Travis pulled out all the stops for their guests - to make sure fun memories and an inviting and welcoming environment was what their guests walked into. Choosing specially curated candles and holders as escort cards for guests to find their seats, to having champagne ready and cold with a dash of raspberry to greet them at the entrance - to the specially sourced linens from California and matching soft-touch napkins tied with coordinating ribbon and those gorgeous clear glass chargers at each place setting. No guest left this reception hungry or wanting more. One of my favorite weddings of all time - with one incredibly loving and truly-in love couples.
